Low-risk foods include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Baked goods that do not require refrigeration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jams, jellies, and preserves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dried mixes\/Spices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some liquids (<em>i.e. ice tea, coffee, lemonade, etc.&nbsp;<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some sauces (<em>i.e. balsamic dressing, etc.&nbsp;<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acid and acidified foods (<em>i.e. pickles, bbq sauce, etc.<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Freeze-dried fruits\/vegetables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are selling these items out of your home, they may need to be labeled and may be subject to testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individually packaged items and food that you will ship to the customer must be labeled with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Product name<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Manufacturer name and address<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Net weight of the product in ounces\/pounds and the gram weight equivalent<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Complete list of ingredients in order of predominance by weight<\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a customer orders food ahead of time to pick it up at your residence, or you deliver food to a special event, labeling is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/goairmart.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/keri-sidney-RHYap58QKq4-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7133\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goairmart.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/keri-sidney-RHYap58QKq4-unsplash.jpg 640w, https:\/\/goairmart.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/keri-sidney-RHYap58QKq4-unsplash-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/goairmart.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/keri-sidney-RHYap58QKq4-unsplash-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can&#8217;t Sell from Home in NC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High-risk foods can only be produced commercially.
